Served This Week

1 (1 lb) chub Hot Jimmy Dean Sausage, spicy (Trust me! It's too "blah" with mild.)
2 cups long grain rice
1 packet dry Lipton noodle Soup
Brown Sausage. Add rice, 4 cups water, and soup mix. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on medium low for 20 minutes. Stir (The sausage and rice tend to separate.) and serve.
1 lb ground beef
1 cup ketchup (I might try 3/4 cup next time.)
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp green pepper, diced small
1/4 tspn Celery seed
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
1 tsp Mustard
1 TB dried minced onion (E said he would prefer a regular chopped onion instead.)

Fry the beef and drain the fat. Add remaining ingredients to the skillet and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite condiments.
